Right up there with SkyForce!! But more detail

I loved the original Air Attack on iOS a few years back. I was so excited to see this come out & glad to see all the 5 star reviews—the devs deserve it!! But I wont actually be playing til Tilt Controls are added (& others are probably waiting for the controllers option to be added). Tilt Controls are a perfect for flying games (and youre finger isnt in the way or getting sore rubbing across the screen)!! I dont understand why the several flying games that have come out over the last year or so had no Tilt option. I just didnt play them for that reason, its just not the same. Anyway, I emailed the devs of Air Attack 2 & they responded quickly & let me know they will be adding tilt & controller capability w/a future update!!

Real fun arcade style shoot-up game with 3D twists felt like a kid in an arcade shop

Great entry to the bullet hell genre, if you liked skyforce you will like this, worth the 2 dollars. A lot of levels and a lot of different challenges. Looks and sounds good.

This is my first arcade style shootemup purchase since 1942 on NES years ago, but I have really enjoyed this fame so far. The graphics are really nice on iPhone 6+ and this was two bucks well spent

This game is fun, but it is freakishly hard. Bye, going to delete it now.

I own and have played through all of the Cave titles on iOS, as well as the Raiden Legacy, Sine Mora, Sky Force, Operation Dracula, Rayforce, Danmaku: Unlimited, Blazon Star, Ace Maverick, and the original Air Attack and I have to say. I am enjoying this one the most! Couldnt recommend it highly enough! A faithful evolution from my nostalgic years playing 1942 in the arcade and then on Nintendo. Big Up to Developer Art in Games for help making my phone my favorite console of choice!

5 stars, great audiovisuals, destructible land objects and classical shooter gameplay with many modern (yet good!) additions like tail gunner and bombing raids and air dogfights. Last but not least: no iaps, this is a quality game in great price. Highly recommended.

I liked the first one, didnt know this one even existed. Im not seeing what everyones raving about here. Seems to me like they hid the IAP button right before release with the double currency and the grind aspect. I have a feeling it will magically reappear as soon as it goes F2P. Not sure if its my ipad4 or something with the game, but other than the annoying music, theres very little audio effects (bullets/bombs/etc). putting it on the back burner for now, in case things improve with some update.

This is one of my favorite shoot-em ups games. My other favorite is Sky Force. Both games have fantastic graphics and sound. I have no problems with the game play or the sound like others have mentoned. I have Seems like the more I upgrade my weapons and plane I still have Problems killing some of the enemies. The game has crashed on me several times and when I first start the game the Game Center title is stuck for about 30-45 seconds or so and prevents me from playing the game. I have to wait for the GC screen to leave. I have a fast ipad air 2 128 gig so not a problem

Great game for vertical shooters. Not quite bullet hell, but the challenges to earn 3 stars more than make up for the ease of difficulty in simply completing a stage. I agree that weapons can feel a bit underpowered, and enemy planes seem to down much quicker if you shoot point blank than from a distance, even with equal bullet impact, but if you like shooters and have 2.00 to spare, youll 100% get your moneys worth with this gorgeous game.

Ranks with the best. Almost console worthy. Certainly would be a great console indie production. Lots of missions with weekly specials. No brainer, buy it.

The original was & still is a better game in my opinion.

I love how the buildings are ALL destructible. Even the vehicles driving around blow up! If you want a fun arcade style get sky force. If you want a more realistic game get this one hands down. Hands down.

Everyone says, hooray! no iaps. Ordinarily, I would agree. But in this case I wish there were, because you have to grind and grind to get there. Other than that, I love the game: great action, great control, great graphics. Best vertical shooter Ive played. Love the tail gunner, and the explosions...oh my, the explosions.

I have been waiting along time for Air Attack 2. I played the original when the iPad 1 first came out. This is a classic scrolling shooter like the old 1942 game. I love this game! Amazing graphics and so much fun.

As others have stated: I am a shmup fanatic. Have many fantastic 1s (Phoenix HD, Lightning Fighter 2, Raiden Legacy, many of CAVEs, etc.) This is arguably the best of them all! Believe the hype!

I would have paid full price had I not known about this game coming in from touch arcade. Great control and game mechanics with detailed environments. I really hope you the devs make $$$$$$ from this and to encourage fun gaming over flagrant profit driven, OCD targeting F2P games
